2. What data we collect

When you register to download a resource ("one-pager"), we collect the name and email address you provide, the date and time of your registration, and a record of your consent. We also process your email address to confirm it (double opt-in). We may collect basic, non-identifying usage information such as page views to understand how the site is used.

3. Why we collect it and the legal basis

We use your name and email address to (a) verify your email address, (b) send you the resource you requested, and (c) send you occasional emails related to The Ben Factor, where you have consented to this. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), our legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by checking the consent box and confirming your email. You can withdraw this consent at any time (see Section 7).

4. Email confirmation and sending (double opt-in)

After you register, we send a confirmation email with a verification link. We only send you the requested resource and any further emails after you confirm your address. This protects against misuse of email addresses that are not yours.

5. Service providers we use

To operate this site we rely on third-party services that may process your data on our behalf:

• Base44 — hosting of the website and storage of registration data.
• Resend — sending of confirmation and download emails. Resend processes your email address to deliver these messages. Servers may be located in the United States.
• YouTube / Google — video content on this site is embedded from YouTube. When a video loads, YouTube may collect data as described in Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

These providers may store or process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, such transfers are based on appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

6. How long we keep your data

We keep your registration data for as long as you remain subscribed or until you ask us to delete it. If you do not confirm your email address, we delete unconfirmed registrations after [z. B. 30 days].

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, to object to processing, and to request a copy of your data. If you are in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we hold and to request its deletion. 8. Cookies and tracking

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies.

9. Children

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
